He was not the bes...I agree with you on all fronts! He was not the best Bond but he doesn't deserve all the negativity either. I don't think Sean Connery could actually convey the same emotion Lazenby did at the very end. It is a bit long and there seemed to be a huge break in the Bond spy to bring in a Romance movie(cue Louis Armstrong).
