Mt. Rushmore of Movies Blogathon '19

Although most of the nominations are bullshit and the ceremony is going to be an awful disaster, I'm still staying up all night to watch the Oscars. It's a long wait though and what a better way to not fall asleep, other than drinking countless cups of coffee, than rewatching Dirty Grandpa because I'm a slut for Zac Efron? Well, actually there's a better way, googling shirtless hot actors.

And you know what would I'd love? To see those hot bodies carved in stone. On Mount Rushmore, for example. So, despite I said I'd find something else for m. brown's Mt. Rushmore blogathon since somebody was already going with it, I decided to go with abs, the Mount Rushmore of Marvel Abs, Marvel both as wonderful thing and as the publisher of comic books I love the most. So without further ado, here are the Marvel abs, in order of crushes (the crush is on the actor, not the abs specifically), I want to see bigger and stronger.

PS before you start drooling on your keyboard, here are the simple rules to join the blogathon (copied and pasted from Two Dollar Cinema so please don't link your post in my comments but here):
  1. I'd like to have all posts done by Friday, March 1st (where I'll create a master list, linking back to all of your lovely sites), but it's cool if you're an overachiever and finish early. Or not at all.
  2. When you've finished, send me a heads up/dick pic on twitter @twodollarcinema, reply in the comments below, e-mail me (twodollarcinema@gmail.com), make circles out of black smoke that Amy Adams will decode, Hell, cut a note out of old newspaper headlines, I really don't mind. Just let me know that you're in and that I love you so much.
  3. In your post, please use the rad banner my wife designed in eleven minutes.
  4. Share the announcement, if possible. I don't really know anyone, uh, except you.
  5. I just want to tell you both good luck, we're all counting you.

Enjoy!

Steve Rogers (Chris Evans)

Captain America: The First Avenger

Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan)

Black Panther

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd)

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Peter Parker (Tom Holland)

Spider-Man: Homecoming

  1. The only thing I didn't like about Black Panther was that they killed off Michael B Jordan - he was a good villain, and how they dismissed him was out of character. He was someone who was challenging, and the movie made it seem like he just gave up when he got hurt. I was hoping he'd be in future movies.

    Other than that, great list!

    1. I was disappointed too. He is one of the few strong Marvel villains, one you can sympathise with, and they killed him. WTF Marvel.

  2. I mean, both my fav's are here but even I'm wondering, where's Thor? :D

Also, such a nice Mount Rushmore... my eyes are resting while I drool all over my keyboard.

  5. This list is perfect. All of these scenes are a gift to the MCU. :)

  6. So nice on the eyes....I felt bad for the villain of Black Panther and thought they could have developed him into a better character instead of daddy died no I hold a grudge plot

    1. His backstory was still better than that of most Marvel villains.

  7. Thank you soooo much for participating. This is fantastic, if not a little, you know...depressing. I mean, goodness fellas, you're ruining it for the rest of us.

I mean, what the f--k Evans? Really? And Rudd? Aren't you like 50? Knock it off, jerks.
